IBSA, Napsa Kha Imphal post wins

Losing one game and winning two, IBSA is currently with 4 points while KIYC had lost both games.

IBSA Yumnam Leikai pullled off their second win, beating KIYC Kshetrigao by 4 wickets in the 6th MNCA Plate Tournament 2021-22 played at Langthabal Public Ground, Imphal West.  

Losing one game and winning two, IBSA is currently with 4 points while KIYC had lost both games.

KIYC opted to bat first and could manage 112 runs for 10 wickets from 28 overs with opener Md Abdul Hamid scoring 29 runs while Geetchandra M got 21 runs. IBSA bowler Karan Prajapati was the most successful one claiming 5 wickets for 31 runs from 8 overs while Rajababu and Ramananda got 2 wickets each.

In reply, IBSA Yumnam Leikai relied on middle order batsman Robinson S who remained not out with 35 runs, to reach the target in 29.3 overs for 6 wickets. M Sunanda contributed 29 runs towards his team's victory.

KIYC bowlers Amzad Khan, Aneesh Ahmed picked up 2 wickets each while Md Aman and Zakariya Shah chipped in with 1 wicket each. IBSA bowler Karan Prajapati was declared the Man of the Match for his 5 wickets haul.

In another match played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Napsa Kha Imphal beat Oscar Paona Bazar by 141 runs.

Napsa batsman clicked as they managed 199 runs for 7 wickets with T Dhanakuber making an unbeaten 64 runs while Chingkhei Singh too remained not out with 26 runs. Rojer contributed 23 runs while Richard Singh made 27 runs.

Oscar bowler Robin Irengbam claimed 3 wickets while Bijendro, Khruso, Permeshor and Sushilkumar chipped in with 1 wicket each.

Chasing the target, Oscar Paona Bazar made a paltry 58 runs for 10 wickets from 20.1 overs. Samson Singh and Robin Irengbam contributed an identical 15 runs each. Napsa bowler Chingkhei Singh bagged 4 wickets and later was declared the Man of the Match while Rocky, Bipin Singh took 2 wickets each.
