An 18-member senior hockey squad had left Imphal for participating in the 11th Hockey India Senior National Championship 2021 to be held in Pune, Maharashtra from December 11-21. The squad includes Ph Bisham Singh, Ch Dayananda, Sh Suresh, H Amarjit, W Gajendra, H Romeshkumar, N Abung, N Bhakar, L Mantosh, Ksh Dollar, K Rohit, S Meiraba, M Dhananjoy, K Debakishor, K Ibungo and O Shyam. The team coach is Ksh Shantakumar and P Bhandhan as Manager. The team was flagged off by former Olympian Ksh Thoiba Singh and other Manipur Hockey officials at Imphal Tulihal International Airport on Thursday.
