GDC Thinungei lifted the Champion title, beating RFCC Keinou by 2-0 goals in the 1st Late Th Ibopishak (Ningthouren) Super Division Football League 2022-23 organised by DSA Bishnupur at Mini Stadium.
The last league match saw GDC Thinnungei finishing off its run with H Anand Singh and N Arbin Singh picking up a goal each for the comfortable victory against the Keinou outfit, to lay their hands on the champion’s title.
GDC Thinungei completed the league picking up 19 points from seven matches, winning six and drawing one game while TYDA Toubul took the Runners Up title with 15 points, winning four matches and three drawn games.
YSWA took the third spot with 12 points while NCYWO Nungsai Chiru with 11 points, Lashal Leimapokpam with 8 points, RFCC Keinou with 6 points, KPFC with 3 points and BFA Nachou with 2 points.
The other individual awards are Highest Scorer which was bagged by H Jotin Singh of Lashal Leimapokpam, Best Goalkeeper claimed by H Parsanjit Singh of YSWA, Best Striker by L Jackson of YSWA, Best Midfielder by JR Jonitson of NCYWO and Best Defender award claimed by N Sobhachandra of TYDA Toubul.
