The five-day long annual sports meet of Rangkhung Youth Club under the theme ‘Championships are won through Practice’ concluded on Saturday. The closing ceremony was held at Rangkhung Part-3 Village under Noney district.
The closing ceremony was attended by social worker Lungsangai Panmei and social worker Jaojiana Phaomei as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
In his chief guest speech Lungsangai Panmei encouraged all the team participants and elaborated the theme of the annual sports meet. He also kicked-off the men's football final match in the presence of the youth leader and village authority leaders of Rangkhung villages.
As part of the closing ceremony, presentation of gifts and cultural dance were performed by Rangkhung Youth Club.
Morever, distribution of prize and cash awards for the winner of different category i.e. (Football, Volleyball, Highjump, Longjump, 100 metre race for both men and women) were the main highlights of the closing ceremony in the sports meet.
