UBSA Mantak moves into the semi final beating AIFA Irengbam by 3-1 goals in the 17th DSA Kakching Trophy 2023 played at DSA Ground.

UBSA Mantak makes the early call with Leivon Jetly Kom fetching the opening goal in 12 minute for the brief lead as AIFA got the equaliser from Somendro Singh in 29 minute of play to level 1-1 goals in first half.

A long stalemate ensued in the second half play as neither was willing to risk but UBSA shed their apprehension and started making foray and it was Levion Jetly Kom who find the second goal in 60 minute and later Chungneingir Kom fetched the winning goal in 62 minute, to booked their semi final berth.

The first semi final of the Trophy will be played between SWC Keirak and SDO Pallel on January 14 while UBSA Mantak will face SAO Kakching in the second semi final on January 16.

U-14 Boys Inter Club: Kakching Football Club beat Social Development Club by a solitary goal in the U-14 Boys Inter Club Football Tournament 2022-23 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

In the other matches, Poloi Football Club also registered a solitary goal win over North Eastern Sporting Union while Regular Football Coaching Centre blanked Imphal Football Club by 2-0 goals to collect 3 points each.
