The District Sports Association, Chandel has lauded Th Joysing Monsang for clearing the Category-1 Referee Fitness Test held at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on January 11, 2022.

In a statement signed by DSA Chandel president TS Chamna Anal said Th Joysing Monsang is the only Referee from Chandel District who has achieved the highest refereeing status of CAT-1 of the AIFF. We are indeed very happy and proud of him for achieving the mark.

Joysing Monsang is the second son of Th Angpation Monsang and Sharmila Monsang of Japhou Bazar, Chandel. Besides his refereeing career, he is also the vice president of AMFA and holds the post of Assistant General Secretary, DSA Chandel. He also officiated matches not only in India but in Tajikistan and Malaysia under AFC.
