The District Sports Association (DSA), Bishnupur has expressed its shocked over the sudden and untimely demise of its former assistant general secretary, Huidrom Joychandra Singh of Bishnupur due to COVID-19 on Thursday at JNIMS Hospital.

On the demise of Joychandra, the DSA Bishnupur Executive Council members convened an online condolence meeting, whereby the members recalled his contribution for the development of football and welfare of the players. The executive council members prayed for his soul to eternal peace at his heavenly abode and shared the grief of the family members at his crucial hours.
