Yambem Dhanabir Singh winning streak continues as he enjoys the top spot with 5 points in the 5th Khuraijam Ramnarayan Shastree Memorial State Level Open Chess Tournament held at Juvenile Club, Tera Sapam Leirak.

The lone leader after completion of the fifth round saw Dhanabir Singh making his strides beating L Lalgopal Sharma to collect one point to stay on top with 5 points.

On the other hand, Rk Bhogen Singh also came good today as he beat E Shashikanta to stay close to the leader with 4 and half points.

The other winners of the day included Kh Sanjoy, N Pari, K Poireikhomba Meitei, N Herojit, Ph Rajen and L Shyamkishore who stood in third spot with four points. Players standing with three-and-a-half points are, Rk Sudhirsana, E Shashikanta, S Lawrence, S Herojit, Th Sunachand, Ronald Soibam, E Jeakson and N Tokyo.
