Cyclone Thangmeiband beat YUCC Kwakeithel by 29 runs in the 9th T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2022 played at Oriental College and Model Higher Secondary School Ground, Imphal West.

Cyclone Thangmeiband batsman posted a modest total of 142 runs for the loss of six wickets with Shaymsunder, getting 41 runs from 27 deliveries while Thoi Thoi got 40 runs from 33 balls.

Rohindro contributed 32 runs from as many deliveries. YUCC bowler Manikumar claimed 3 wickets while Tomba, Bishwajit and Brijesh picked up 1 wickets each.

YUCC in their reply could muster up 113 runs for 9 wickets from 20 overs with Brijesh hard hitting knock of 52 runs from 47 balls failed to save them. Debadutta got 14 runs. The pick among Cyclone bowlers was Tiken, who bagged 3 wickets for the Man of the Match title while Robindro took two wickets and Sudhir fetched one wicket.
