The 13th Shaheed Manoranjan Singh Memorial State Level Open Football Tournament was organised by 143 Bn CRPF, Lamphelpat under the aegis of IGP, Manipur and Nagaland at Sports Authority of India (SAI) Sports Complex in Imphal.

A release issued by 143 Bn, CRPF stated that the state-level football tournament is being organised by the CRPF with the cooperation and support of IWDFA and AMFA from February 4 till March 4.
CRPF has been organising the tournament since 2010 in honour of assistant commandant Shaheed Ng Manoranjan Singh for his sacrifice while fighting Naxalities in Chhattisgarh in 2009, it mentioned.

Ng Manoranjan was the only son of the late Ng Budhachandra and Ng Memcha from Yurembam Makha Leikai, Imphal, it added.
