Meghalaya required 189 runs to beat Manipur in the Men's U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy 2021-22(Day 3) played at KIIT Cricket Stadium, Bhubaneshwar.

Manipur resumed their overnight innings, to put up a total of 344 runs for 10 wickets from 118.3 overs with skipper Jotin Pheiroijam making a dazzling 178 runs from 180 balls. Sanjit contributed 26 runs and Dominic got 22 runs in the 2nd innings.

Meghalaya bowler Manish bagged 6 wickets for 110 runs from 35.3 overs while Raghav fetched 2 wickets for 69 runs from 31 overs and Rohit picked up 1 wicket for 22 runs from 9 overs.

Chasing the target, Meghalaya knelt on Kevin Christopher who smashed an unbeaten 52 runs from 74 balls while Bharali hit 47 runs from 98 balls and Josiah Momin got 13 runs. Manish, yet to open his account, was at the crease when stumps were drawn.

Jotin Pheiroijam also came good in his bowling capability, capturing 4 wickets for 41 runs from 12 overs while Kadamjit fetched 2 wickets for 24 runs from 11 overs.
