Hockey player Sonia Kshetrimayum has been included in the Indian squad for the Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier 2023 to be held at Oman from August 25-28.

Sonia hails from Singjamei Wangma Kshetri Leikai, Imphal, Manipur.

The South East Youth Organisation (SEYO), Singjamei Kshetri Leikai lauded the inclusion of Sonia Ksh in the Indian team.

On the other hand, the SEYO also congratulated Irengbam Rohit Singh, who had been call up by Hockey India for its Sub-Junior Men's National Hockey Coaching Camp to be held at Odisha from August 21.

The South East Youth Organisation, while praying for the successful conduct of the two players, wished them a great future.
