Arunachal Pradesh leads with 133 runs against Manipur in day one play of the Men's U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy 2021-22 played at KIIT Cricket Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
Winning the toss, Arunachal Pradesh batsman took the crease and made a good start with both openers hitting a half century each as Amarjeet Sharma pick up 56 runs from 75 balls while skipper Leki Tsering made 55 runs from 62 balls to put up 197 runs for 10 wickets from 44.2 overs.
Other batsman Honey Khari got 27 runs, Techi Dol made 25 runs and Sudeep Paswan fetched 18 runs. Manipur bowler Jotin Pheiroijam claimed 3 wickets while Aziz Mirza, Dominic, Kadamjit picked up 2 wickets each and Joyraj got one wicket.
Replying to Arunachal Pradesh first innings, the Manipur batsman failed miserably as they were bundled out for 78 runs for 10 wickets from 36.2 overs. Opener Suresh Singh topscored with 18 runs while Jotin Ph got 16 runs and Kadamjit made 12 runs.
Arunachal Pradesh bowler, Amarjeet Sharma bagged 4 wickets while Honey Khari claimed 3 wickets and Gollo Aga, Aryan Sahani fetched 1 wicket each.
The Arunachal Pradesh second innings saw Amarjeet Sharma making an unbeaten 4 runs while Lleki Tsering also remained not out with 7 runs, taking the lead with 133 runs.
