AMIMYDO Mayang Imphal lifted the Champion title of the 20th Sub-Junior Boys State Level Volleyball Tournament 2021 organised by All Manipur Volleyball Association at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.
In the final match, AMMIYDO had a hard and trying time against NYVA Naorem, extending the game to five sets where the former ultimately prevailed at the end with 3-2 sets.
NYVA Naorem, who is a regular name in a final match, showed their tendency of being a top team winning the first and second set by 25-22 and 25-22 points. However AMIMYDO disciplined and accurate approach in the remaining game, dictates they are the new force to reckon with as they took the third game by 25-21 points.
With both team, going for all out kill for the title match, AMIMYDO yet again sprang the surprise when they scored over NYVA with 25-22 point in the fourth set to level 2-2 set old. The zealous effort of AMIMYDO fetch rich dividend as they claimed the fifth set with 15-13 point for the victory on Monday.
As for the 4th Senior Women, SSC Senapati beat NSUVC Imphal by a straight set of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-23 points for the Champion title.
