The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has re-organised its junior girls adding two more playing members to represent Manipur in the Hero Junior Girls' National Football Championship 2023-24 to be held at Odisha from September 20-30.
Manipur is placed in Group B along with Haryana, Delhi and Maharashtra. Manipur squad comprises 22 playing members and four support staff. In their first match, Manipur will take on Maharashtra on September 21 and meet Delhi in their second match on September 23 and Harayana on September 25.
New sets of practice jerseys were distributed to the players at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong this morning.
The 22 playing member squad comprises Sharungbam Anika Devi, Asheibam Roshni Chanu, Konjengbam Tamphasana Devi as goalkeeper while in defence are Ngangom Roni Devi, Longjam Ghanapriya Devi, Melody Wangkheirakpam, Sarangthem Alena Devi, Chingakham Alina, Nameirakpam Arina Devi, Ngangbam Davina Devi and Lourembam Riya Devi.
The Midfielders are Thokchom Olivia, Thingbaijam Rojida Chanu, Moibungkhongbam Sanjana Chanu, Ningthoujam Olivia Chanu, Phanjoubam Abema Devi, Khumukcham Bhumika Devi while in the Forwards are Thongam Resma Devi , Hemam Linthoi Devi and Namram Lamnganbi Chanu.
The two newly added playing members are Kayengpaibam Anju Chanu and Lourembam Menaka Devi.
The AMFA also appointed Ayingbi Lukram as Team Manager while Premjit Meitei Soraisam as Coach, Angom Rita Devi as Physio and Toijam Rabikumar Singh as official.
