All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2022: Manipur Police body building team returns with four medals

Among the eight body builders who participated in the championship, representing Manipur police team, four body builders in men’s category won bronze medal.

Body builders of Manipur Police team that won four bronze medals in different weight categories in the 71st All India Police Wrestling Cluster, 2022 championship returned to Imphal Monday.

The championship was held at State Reserve Police Force, Pune, Maharshtra from November 16-20 and was organised by the Maharashtra Police.

Among the eight body builders who participated in the championship, representing Manipur police team, four body builders in men’s category won bronze medal. They are Jemadar, Bhupendro NK in 80 kg; head constable, W Kiran in 75 kg; constable P Nandajit in 60 kg and havildar L Okendro in 55 kg.

In the competition, Havildar L Kumarjit Meitei in 90 kg; Havildar Ng Surchandra in 85 kg; Rifleman Kh Hemata and Constable Ksh Arunjit in 65 kg also participated.
