Al-Ameen, Lilong outplayed WYC Thoubal Wangkhem by 7 wickets in the 6th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Cricket Tournament 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
The WYC team, which has shaped up well in the last few months, got a boost from the middle order batsman to put up 177 runs for 8 wickets from 40 overs after they won the toss and opted to bat first.
After losing both openers in quick manner, Th Momocha jumped in to hold fort hitting 30 runs from 62 balls while Priyobrata Moirangthem got 29 runs from 57 balls. With Al-Ameen bowler Nasir Shah and Habibullah creating havoc in rattling the wickets, a last ditch effort from tailender batsman saw Th Rohit making 14 runs from 12 balls while Mangi Sharma remained not out with 37 runs from 27 balls.

In reply, Al-Ameen openers were in a rampazing mood as Md Basir Rahman struck 59 runs from 53 balls while Nawaz got 42 runs from 54 balls to pave the way for a resounding victory. After their departures, Md Mustaque took charge as he hit an unbeaten 40 runs from 55 balls while Nongjaimayum Mohd Nasir Shah also hit an unbeaten 20 runs from 27 balls, to reach the target in 32.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
Al-Ameen player Nongjaimayum Mohd Nasir Shah was declared the Man of the Match for his 3 wickets haul and 20 unbeaten runs.
