A Volleyball Tournament organised by 87 BN CRPF, Uchathol in Jiribam from February 15 under Civic Action Programme 2021-2022 that was participated by 12 teams from Jiribam district concluded on Thursday.
In the final match, Maheikhullen Benevolent Club Bidyanagar was titled the champion of the tournament by defeating LK Memorial Club Tolen in sets of 25-24, 25-23, 23-25, 17-25 and 21-25, after which the latter was titled the runner up.
The final match of the tournament was attended by Commandant 87 BN CRPF CO Huidrom Premjit and chief medical officer SG Florence Dangmei.
Cash prizes of Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 were awarded to the champion and runner up of the tournament respectively. The participating teams were awarded with two volleyballs each as well.
