A 29-member Muay Thai team has left Imphal for participating in the National Muay Thai Championship 2022 to be held at Dewar Tukoji Indoor Stadium, Madhya Pradesh from June 16-22, 2022.

The players include 27 fighters and two officials and will be among the 850 players from 28 states participating in the championship which is being organised by United Muay Thai Association of India.

Mentioned may be that players in the age group of 18 years, who bag gold medals from the meet will be selected to represent India in Youth World Muay Thai Championship, to be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in August.
