The Manipur Fencing Association has selected 24 fencers along with three officials for the 24th Junior National Championship to be held at Sonipat, Haryana from November 29-30, 2021.
The fencers in the Foil event are K. Abinash, S. Hemash, Kh.Yaiphaba, Ch. Ronel, Khusboorani L, N. Mona, W. Sonia, Dayarani N while in the Epee event are, N.Amarjit, Th.Dingkiraj, K.Kane, Yohenba W, S.Nelcyrose, Ph.Anjalika, L.Chinglembi, Oshini K. In the Sabre event Y.Givson, A.Thoinao, Maxi Th, Ok.Dinkash, L.Abi, L.Ambika, Muruga Laxmi and N. Jesy.
The selected officials include W.Romendrajit Singh and S.Reorita Devi as the Coaches while Kh. Sarat Singh is the Manager.
The MFA further added that all selected fencers and coaches are informed to attend the thirteen days preparation camp starting tomorrow till November 20 at Fencing Hall, Khuman Lampak from 8.30 am to 10 am daily.
Furthermore, the Manipur Fencing Association also deputed fourteen coaches to assist the junior preparation camp. The coaches are H.Hemjit Meetei, W.Ibomcha, H.Suranjoy, W.Voleshwor, H.Manglemba, Chingsomba Ningomba, W.Romendrajit, S.Ranjit, W.Somorjit, O.Sovaraj, S.Jayenta, Omi Devi, A.Shaolin and S.Reorita Devi.
