Kuki Inpi, KSO lauds FGI, says its feat is the pride of Manipur
Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) and Kuki Students Organisation (KSO) today appreciated president of FEEDS Group of Institution, Haokholet Kipgen, for setting up three colleges of Horticulture, Community Science (Home Science) and Biotechnology at FEEDS Hengbung campus in the larger interest of aspiring youths from the state and its neighbouring states and countries.
Haokholet Kipgen, who is a former minister, is also the chief of Hengbung village and president Foundation for Environment and Economic Development Services (FEEDS) Hengbung, had established three College of Horticulture, Community Science (Home Science) and Biotechnology and the three colleges have been recently approved by Manipur University for affiliation.
KIM led by its president, Khaimang Chongloi including advisor, Lunpi S. Thangjom; vice president Hemjathang Khongsai; general secretary, Shokholun Mate and vice president of KSO, Hemang Haokip called on Haokholet Kipgen this morning at his Hengbung residence and appreciated the achievement of FEEDS Group of Institution in opening the three colleges.
Kuki Inpi Manipur also wrapped a traditional shawl ‘Saipikhup’ over the shoulder of FGI President Haokholet as mark of appreciation and happiness for his achievement while terming the achievement as ‘The Pride of Manipur”.
“It’s an asset and pride of the state”, said KIM president adding that aspiring students from all communities from the state can now avail technical and professional hands on in the field of Horticulture, Community Science and Biotechnology with up-to-date technology and laboratories without going far off places.
KIM president also noted that the efforts of FEEDS Group of Institution is great and priceless and deserve compliment from all quarters as it will not only serve as a platform in learning technical and professional education for the people of Manipur but its neighbouring states and countries as well.
He further said that state government must also acknowledge the achievement of FEEDS Group for the society at large while promoting and assisting the FEEDS Group of Institution in its endeavours to bring advancement in the field of technical and professional education among the students of the states.
Haokholet on the other hand expressed his happiness upon the visit and motivation while appreciating all efforts involved in the setting of the colleges on the part of FGI members, his wife and children, friends and near and dear ones.
The two Kuki organisations along with the FGI President also visited the almost completed building construction of the three colleges within the Campus of FEEDS Hengbung.
