Cyclone Thangmeiband posted 49 runs wins over Napsa Kha Imphal in the 7th MVCA T-20 Cricket Tournament 2019 played at Langthabal Public Ground.
Winning the toss, Cyclone decided to bat first with Thoithoi taking charge hitting 33 runs from 29 balls while Shashi got 24 runs from 29 balls to put up 119 runs for 6 wickets from 20 overs. Napsa Kha Imphal bowler Mahesh and Doren claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, Napsa Kha Imphal were bowled out cheaply for 70 runs for 10 wickets from 18.3 overs. Cyclone bowler Surajchandra bagged 4 wickets while Robindro and Bikom fetched 2 wickets.
Napsa batsman Simon topscored with 29 runs from 41 balls while Bipin got 11 runs from 18 balls.
Cyclone Thangmeiband bowler Surajchandra was awarded the man of the match for his 4 wickets haul.
In another match, Champ Khagempalli batted their way beating DSU Kwakeithel by 47 runs.
Taking the crease after winning the toss, rode on with Robinson who struck 63 runs from 43 balls while Indrasen and Gulson got an identical score of 15 runs to put up 147 runs for 7 wickets from 20 overs.
DSU bowler Gyaneshwor claimed 3 wickets while Jiten and Biswajit fetched 2 wickets each. In reply, DSU Kwakeithel were bundled out for 100 runs for 9 wickets from 20 overs with Indraben grabbing 3 wickets while Homeshore and Robinson chipped in with 1 wicket each.
DSU batsman Somorjit got 15 runs while Bishwajit fetched 14 runs and Chingtam got 12 runs. Champ batsman Robinson claimed the man of the match for his 63 runs knock.
