Thang-Ta Meheikol, Yumnam Huidrom claimed two gold medals in the 1st Imphal West District Thang-Ta Competion under Khelo India Programme 2019 held at Yumnam Huidrom, Imphal West.
Th.Srinibash Singh, Century Heisnam claimed the gold medals. Ng.Bholen of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindamshang and S.Rabinash Singh of ANJIKA, Sangaiporou fetched the silver and bronze medals.
Century Heisnam added another gold for Thang-Ta Maheikol in the 56kg category Thoithoiba Khumanthem of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindamsang, Maklang fetch the bronze medal.
Pahulashi, Mayaikoibi came up with a gold medal in the 64kg of Phunaba Anisuba with Th.Malemnganba Luwang collecting the gold medal while L.Athoi Singh of Thang-Ta Maheikol and Y.Rohit Singh of Huyen Langlon Thang-Ta settled for the silver and bronze medals.
Khelo India Football: THAU(C) and Renedy Football School, Malom moves into the semi final of the 1st Khelo India U-17 yrs(Boys & Girls) Football Tournament 2018-19 organised by District Youth Affairs & Sports, Imphal West.
THAU beat United Social by 2-1 goals with Meiraba and M.Charles scoring a goal each for THAU team while S.Bicky fetch the lone goal for United Social team. The other match saw Renedy Football School drubbing THAU(B) by 8-0 goals enroute to the semi final.
