Go to Village mission held state wide
IMPHAL | Jul 10 : The seventh phase of “Go to Village” (GTV) mission camp was today held in different villages of Manipur to reach out beneficiaries with different government schemes.
Chief Ministergi Hakshel Tenbang (CMHT) health cards, forms for old age pension, widow pension, Chief Minister Gi Sotharabasingi Tengbang (CMST), school kits for students, tree saplings from forest department, amongst others were provided to beneficiaries at the camp. Facilities like free health check-up, Aadhaar enrolments, applications for birth certificate, death certificate, residential certificate, enrolments of voter Ids, etc. were availed accordingly in the camps.
In Kakching, the GTV mission camp was held at Ibudhou Mayangamba Lai Haraopham, Thongjao under Hiyanglam constituency of Kakching district.
MLA, Hiyanglam assembly constituency, Y. Radheshyam attended the function as chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he said this scheme had made the relationship between the government and the people of the villages closer.
Member of Kakching zila parishad, Ch. Indrajit Singh, pradhan of Waikhong GP, Wangkhem Brojen Singh and pradhan of Arong Nongmaikhong GP, Ningthoujam ongbi Ayingbi Devi attended the mission camp.
Go to Village mission was launched on May 1 by chief minister, N. Biren Singh with the aim to give government facilities at the villagers’ doorstep.
In Ukhrul, the GTV mission camp was held at Hoomi Village for 7 Kachai District Council Constituency. The villages Hoomi, Kachai L Phungthar, Maichon, Tora, Champhung and Leisan falls under 7 Kachai DCC and falls under LM Block, Ukhrul District.
The programme was attended by Khashim Vashum, MLA 45-Chingai A/C accompanied by Kapangpam Zimik and Mashungngam SP, Executive Member ADC Ukhrul, Thuingahan Pheirim and Thanchipem Jagoi members ADC Ukhrul. The mission also witnessed the presence of L. Rajendro, deputy director, TD and Hills and Shanngam Shaliwo, DFO Ukhrul and representatives and staffs from various department.
MLA Khashim Vashum repeatedly appealed the villagers of Hoomi to make a way for completion of National Highway 102A at the earliest by extending maximum co-operation.
Khashim informed that most of the people in this western part of Ukhrul are yet to get Labour Card, Handloom Card and Weaving Card and appealed the concern department to make the necessary arrangement at the earliest.
He distributed ration card, GI sheet to 6 household, water tanks to 10 individuals, LPG connection to 5 household, tarpaulin to 8 individuals and wool for weaving to 6 individuals. A cheque of Rs. 180000 to Kachai and Rs. 120000 to Hoomi were given to the Village Water Sanitation Committee as incentive under SBM was also distributed during the programme.
In Tamenglong, the “Go to Village” mission camp was opened at Dailong village for Dailong ADC segment which includes nine villages.
Deputy commissioner Tamenglong Ravinder Singh attended as chief guest. District level officers were also attended and opened their stall.
Ravinder said that many people are not aware of the government schemes being implemented in the district, go to village mission is initiated government to reach the scheme to deserving people.
Many Memorandums were passed to the Deputy commissioner Tamenglong.
In Kangpokpi social welfare and cooperation minister Nemcha Kipgen today attended the GTV mission held at Songtun Kuki village, Champhai sub-division, Kangpokpi district. Songtun Kuki, Amaledara and T. Lamjang are the villages covered in this camp.
Nemcha encouraged the villagers to avail maximum benefits as all the government schemes and benefits are delivered at their doorsteps with much convenience. She urged the officials to give maximum awareness on various essential schemes and programmes.
The GTV mission camp was held at the Bashikhong Shinshuba Shanglen covering Bashikhong, Kitna Panung and Wangkhei Laumanbi villages under Bashikhong Gram Panchayat today.
Rural development and Panchayati Raj minister Thongam Biswajit Singh, who is also the local MLA, visited the camp and inspected the stalls set up by the different government departments.
The minister also interacted with the public and heard their grievances. He said the mission will ensure that the government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries.
In Bishnupur Go to Village’ mission camps were opned at Khuleima Laiharaobung, Keinou, Ngaikhong Laiharaobung Community Hall, Ngaikhong Khullen and Saiton Bazar Community Hall, Saiton today. The three camps covered all the Gram Panchayats from Keinou, Ngaikhong and Saiton GP.
Radha Kishore, MLA Oinam AC, Sanasam Bira Singh, MLA Kumbi AC, Nidhi Keshwani, secretary, PHED and nodal officer along with Pawan Yadav, deputy commissioner visited the camps to make sure that service delivery in the camps are flowed and successful.
At Heirok the misson camp was held at mission camp held at Salungpham Kangyambem Laibung Community hall and Ching Tam High School Complex, of Heirok A/C covering Salungpham Kangyambem and Kangthokchao.
Education minister Thokchom Radheshyam distributed LPG gas connections under the Ujjwala scheme, Health card, Weaver Card to the weavers.
The minister also visited the GTV mission camp at the Multipurpose Community hall, Thoubal Achouba of Thoubal A/C.
In Chandel district the mission camp was conducted today at Bollok village covering 20 villages under Chakpikarong sub-division, Chandel.
The cluster villages covered are Ravalon, Kangbung, Kana Kangbung, Kana Khudam, Kopil Tampak, N. Angbung, Angtangchang, O. Khudam, P. Thumpajol, Kanaralven, Ringchum, Ch. Hringkhu B, L. Molnoi, Kanan, Tiyal Tampak, Sarang Tampak, Tuinom, T. Phaijol, Geljang and Bollok village.
For Churachandpur district, the programme was being held at Tuibong community hall under the initiative of the SDO of Tuibong sub division.
As part of the programme, SDO James Douzapau Haokip presented five schools with gifts from the ZEO. A water filter was presented to Seilal UP School while Teisiang, Tuinom, Thrangzawl and Gelmol Junior Basic schools received filter and teaching materials. The programme also witnessed the distribution of shoes to school students by the SDO and ZEO along with the opening of a counter to obtain new trade licences and for renewals.
During the event, Vangsei Gas agency also handed out documents for LPG connections to 50 new customers which was handed out by the special guest while the Social welfare department offered a readied list of old age pension beneficiaries for the year 2017. Officials from the TD department also distributed Sintex water tanks with 500 litre capacities were also delivered to beneficiaries while informing them that if there is any case of misunderstanding then the details can be obtained at their head office in Imphal including details of backyard poultry schemes.
Also, camps were organised at three different venues at Thoubal district.
A camp was jointly organised by Thoubal Municipal Council (TMC) and Thoubal District Administration (TDA) at the multipurpose hall of TMC located at ward number VIII. During the camp, several stalls were opened which provided various services including new enrolments, corrections and linkages of Aadhaar cards, and issuance and filling up of old age pension and low-cost latrine forms.
At the GTV camp held at Salungfam in Heirok assembly constituency, minister of education, Th. Radheshyam handed over cards to beneficiaries including cards for gas connections and various other schemes while the GTV conducted at Uyal Laikon, Khangabok assembly constituency witnessed the attendance and participation of a huge number of locals who availed several benefits from the mission.
