Manipur University Students’ Union (MUSU) also met joint secretary, department of human resource, G.C. Hosur today at hotel Classic Grande, Chingmeirong to discuss on prevailing issues surrounding the vice chancellor of Manipur University.
Speaking to media persons, president of MUSU, Mayanglambam Dayaman said as the joint secretary invited to discuss the present issue of Manipur University, four executives of MUSU today met Hosur to discuss the issue.
Dayaman said that during the meeting, the team brought the issue along with the memorandum to Hosur. He also brought up the demands made by MUSU and the allegation made against vice chancellor regarding his alleged irregularities.

To this, Dayaman replied that the agitation will not end until the VC is removed from the university. The meeting failed to bring amicable solution for the present issue, he added.
He said MUSU has given an ultimatum to remove the VC by tomorrow. If the authority fails to do the needful, then intense agitation will follow from the next day.
