Booth Level Worker’s Training Programme widely held at Kangpokpi
KANGPOKPI | Apr 15 : Under the aegis of Rastriya Prashikshan Abhiyan Project, BJP Sadar Hills organised a Booth Level Worker’s Training Programme for Kangpokpi and Saikul assembly constituencies at the conference hall of LNC Hotel, Kangpokpi district.
The training programme was inaugurated by Social Welfare and Cooperation minister, Nemcha Kipgen in the presence of vice-president (in-charge) of BJP Manipur Pradesh Sadar Hills, Th. Bashanta Singh, secretary (Org), convenor of Rastriya Prashikshan Abhiyan, P. Premananda Meitei, and district president of BJP Sadar Hills District, Thangjamang Kipgen.
The training programme was also attended by in-charge OBC of BJP Manipur Pradesh, Phoni Meitei, president of Kangpokpi Mandal, Haokholen Guite, executives and members of all Mandal within Kangpokpi district.
Dignitaries, Mandal presidents and other leaders of the party lit up candle in front of the (Late) Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and (Late) Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee as a mark of tribute and love.
During the training programme attended by around 600 people, history and development of BJP, life history of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, schemes and projects launched under BJP governance, work culture of the party, and others were presented and highlighted.
Resource persons of the programme, Th. Bashanta Singh and P. Premananda Meitei also enlightened the mass on the achievements and changes brought by the central NDA government in the past four years and BJP led state government in the past one year.
Bashanta also stressed on Mudra loan and other schemes and projects mean for the people while conveying the party commitment to address any grievances of the people in availing such schemes and projects.
Speakintg about the history of BJP, Premananda said that Bharatiya Janata Party is the successor party of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which merged itself into the Janata Party in 1977 while adding that it BJP was formed as a separate party in 1980 after internal differences in the Janata Party resulted in the collapse of the Janata government in 1979.
The resource persons also emphasised on the importance of primary memberships and further appealed the people of Kangpokpi to enrol themselves as the party primary memberships with just one missed call and notify the number to the public.
