President Droupadi Murmu to visit Nagaland in November

All tribe organisations in Nagaland have been requested to attend the civic reception wearing facemasks and their traditional shawls.

Droupadi Murmu, President of India, is set for a two-day visit to Nagaland on November 2 and 3, 2022.

In honour of the President, a civic reception will be organised at Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima on November 2 at 3 pm, according to an official statement on Friday.

A cultural programme and a state banquet are being organised at the State Banquet Hall, Chief Minister's Residential Complex in Kohima on November 2 at 6:30 pm, the official report said.

All the administrative heads of departments and heads of departments are requested to attend the cultural programme and the State Banquet. Tribe based organisations in Nagaland have also been invited for the civic reception.
