This emergency programme of the NSCN-IM was convened amidst reports that things are not going well in the peace talks with the Government of India.

Meanwhile, the venue of holding the programme at the Naga Army’s General Headquarters speaks volumes. NSCN-IM usually chooses the Council Headquarters to hold programmes.

The “Naga National Assembly” then reaffirmed the declaration of “Nagalim for Christ”.

The “Naga National Decision” further stated:

“We do believe and therefore give our reaffirmation to our Fathers' Faith that Nagalim for Christ is God's word revealed to the Nagas and the subsequent commitment of the Nagas to God.

“We do believe and therefore give our reaffirmation to our Fathers' Faith on the existence of eternal God Almighty, the Creator and Sustainer of heaven and earth.
