Nagaland COVID-19 cases climb to 743 as 11 more test positive

Of the 11 new cases, seven are from Kohima, three form Mon and one from Mokokchung.

Nagaland on Saturday reported 11 more COVID-19 positive cases, taking the state's total tally to 743, official sources said.

The 11 new cases are among the 310 samples tested, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said. Of them seven are from Kohima, three form Mon and one from Mokokchung.

"Out of 310 samples tested, 11 more positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 7 in Kohima, 3 in Mon & 1 in Mokokchung," the health minister posted on Saturday morning.

With these new cases, the number of active cases in Nagaland increased to 439 while 304 patients have recovered from the infection.

On Friday, 59 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Nagaland.
