The Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) calls for entries for the 14th Manipur State Film Awards, 2022 from March 1 till March 15 to be submitted on www.msfds.org or www.msfds.net.
A release by the MSFDS stated that the award will be given to Manipuri feature films, documentary films, short films and music videos produced and censored by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1, 2020 till December 31, 2021.
Entries for the State Film Awards are also invited for Best Writings on Manipuri Cinema, consisting of awards for Best Film Critics and Best Book on Manipuri Cinema published between January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021 in Manipuri or English language, it added.
Informing that films made in Manipuri language or any dialects spoken in the State and censored by the CBFC are eligible for entry in the competition, it added that the commentary and narration may also be in English for non-feature films.
Announcing that interested filmmakers, producers, film critics and authors of film books may apply online for the award on www.msfds.org or www.msfds.net from March 1 till March 15, the release stated the distribution of the awards would be organized on Mami Numit on April 9 at the Palace Auditorium, Palace Gate.
