Blessing ceremony for the Manipuri feature film ‘Yahouthengba Khoimu’, directed by Rakesh Naorem and produced by RK Nayansana under the banner of Ipak Films Production Manipur, was held on Thursday at Loktak Hall of Manipur Press Club.
The event also released a Manipuri patriotic music video album ‘Ima Nangbu Nungshibi’. The album’s lyrics were crafted by RK Nayansana, directed by Gopi KOG, and vocals by Nowboy Huidrom. The music video starred Avi Khudrakpam, with editing by Sushil Yumlembam, choreography by Saterjit Thiyam, and costumes designed by Bachapan.
The chief consultant for the project was Khwairakpam Bishwamitra.
In addition, RK Nayansana served as the story writer and producer of ‘Yahouthengba Khoimu’, while the screenplay and dialogue helmed by Khwairakpam Bishwamitra, Muhindro Kams as editor, Ragini and Chandrima as Make-Up artists, vocals by Nowboy Huidrom and Pushparani.
Ethoi Oinam, Ratana Kshetrimayum, Avi Khundrakpam, Purneshwari, Lalitabi, and Oinam Sharmila, with cinematography by Sushil Yumlembam are the main casts of the film. The film will also introduce Kenny Wahengbam.
Chairman of Film Forum Manipur, L Surjakanta Sharma and former chairman Samjetsabam Mangoljao, among others attended the event.
