A team of Jiribam district Police disposed of a large quantity of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), including beer and illicit country liquor confiscated by the police during an inspection drive in October. Since Manipur is a dry state, the illegally imported items worth Rs 11,63,952 were seized by the police force. The seized items were burnt in front of mediapersons with permission from deputy superintendent of Excise Sub Station, Jiribam, where the items were detained.
