Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla will inaugurate the 21st Annual Conference of CPA India region, Zone III on Friday in Aizawl, Mizoram where the inclusion of the Northeast Region in the India-ASEAN Vision for Trade and Cooperation will be discussed.
Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma, Rajya Sabha deputy chairman Harivansh, Nagaland Legislative Assembly speaker, and CPA, India Region, Zone – III chairman Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker, Mizoram Legislative Assembly Lalbiakzama and deputy speaker, Mizoram Lalfamkima will attend the occasion.
Members of Mizoram Legislative Assembly and other dignitaries will remain present.
The subjects of discussion in the plenary sessions will be the inclusion of the Northeast Region in the India-ASEAN Vision for Trade and Cooperation, and merging the Ministry of DONER with NEC for better strategic planning and coordination of various projects in the region.
On this occasion, Lok Sabha Speaker will inaugurate Archives Cell at Library, Mizoram Legislative Assembly. The two-day conference will conclude on Saturday with a valedictory address of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
