Cadres of the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) paid rich tributes and homage to their beloved patriots and martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty on the occasion of ZUF’s 11th Raising Day on Friday.
Their supreme sacrifices are acknowledged, valued and remembered as revolutionary examples, a release issued by information and publicity secretary of ZUF KD Gangmei stated.
Recalling the hardship, pain, struggle and risk-taking moments faced 11 years ago, it stated that the ZUF are moved with gratitude to the Almighty.
The day and year is remembered and honoured with revolutionary salute to all the comrades and patriots who stood steadfastly to the cause of determining Zeliangrong Homeland till date, it added.
ZUF is encouraged and rest assured by the fact that its cause is just and right in the graceful eye of the divine providence, it stated, adding "Today our conviction and commitment are made stronger and greater as we observe and visualise our ever-cherishing aspiration for our secured homeland despite apparent odds and hardships before us".
Asserting that ZUF will march forward with greater commitment till victory is won, it conveyed to the Zeliangrong people assuring that ZUF will soon be rewarded with a deserving solution to its long cherishing aspiration and struggle.
“We reaffirm that our mission objectives remain strong and shall ever adhere to the principle and preamble of our constitution with renewed will and spirit,” it mentioned.
The ZUF also appealed to the Zeliangrong people and all concerned to continue their valued support and cooperation towards the cause for which they have been committed since “Day One” to this day.
