The entity which had been setup as Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) incorporating Zeliangrong Tiger Force (ZTF) shall no longer be a party to the other faction, it declared.

It stated that a declaration called ‘The Anti-circumvent agreement of the declaration of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) made on April 27’ has been issued in view of the breach of trust meted out on the other end affecting the mutual agreement.

It recalled that on April 27 two factions of the ZUF signed an agreement to work together as one unified body, in which the two signatories namely ZUF chairman Raitu Chawang represented one party and Jenchui Kamei represented the other.

Following the agreement, the representatives of both parties made a mutual understanding to settle certain matters affecting internal fallouts subjected to the declaration, it stated. The representatives also agreed neither to announce nor leak any information or documents in regards to the same to anywhere including public, print or electronic media until the firm settlement of the principle, it mentioned.

“The group of Jenchui Kamei unthoughtfully violated the deep understanding and the agreed position,” it stated. The Jenchui led group went to press and media on April 27 after which the full text of the document had gone viral, it added.

It claimed that the Khoupum village authority council of Khoupum valley area was called to a meeting at Khoupum of Gaijinluang village on May 7 and they were fed falsehoods “that Raitu Chawang had been invited alone and was with them but none of his subordinates were solicited to join.”

It further alleged that during the meeting, it was mentioned that on June 27 when Raitu Chawang signed alone he brought resignation papers of his other subordinates. It was also mentioned that the Jenchui Kamei led group will take strong action against those who gave financial help to the Kamsuan group, ZUF stated. The declaration of the ‘Anti-circumvent abrogation’ will come into immediate effect, it added.
