The Youths of Manipur (YoM) on Wednesday urged the MPs from Manipur to submit an adjournment motion before the ongoing session of Parliament for resolving the Manipur issue, and demanded a detailed progress report from the MLAs who are in Delhi.

Speaking to the media at Singjamei, Imphal, YoM said that the MLAs who went to Delhi after giving their assuarnce on resolving the Manipur issue have not given any report of their progress to the people of Manipur yet.

So, YoM reminded the MLAs to report the progress of solving issues to the people.

They said that those MLAs who are still remaining silent in Manipur should also go to Delhi to solve the issue before the end of the Parliament session. The MLAs who are staying back in Manipur should give reasons for not going to Delhi, the Youths added.

“If the MPs and MLAs do not put the issue of Manipur on the floor of Parliament, then the YoM is ready for further steps,” it stated.
