In a case of hit-and-run, a youth who was hit by a vehicle around 3 am on Wednesday at Kangpokpi Ward No VII, succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to district hospital Kangpokpi. The deceased has been identified as one Paokhoseh Chongloi ,22, of Keithelmanbi Ward No I. A case has been registered at Kangpokpi Police Station and the body is kept at RIMS Mortuary. The family has decided not to collect the body unless the culprit involved in the hit-and-run has been arrested, sources said.
