World Hepatitis Day observation concludes with bike rally

A weeklong health campaign held as part of World Hepatitis Day observation to generate demand for testing and treatment of HBV and HCV in Manipur winded up with a motor cycle rally at Palace Compound, Imphal East on Thursday.

The weeklong campaign on World Hepatitis Day was organised by Community Network for Empowerment (CONE) in collaboration with Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA), BABINA Diagnostics and Two Stroke Motor Cycle Club, Imphal West and CoNE affiliated community based organisations located in different parts of the state. The campaign was supported by Gilead Sciences.

The motorcycle rally held under the joint aegis of CONE and Two Stroke Motor Cycle Club, Imphal West which was kicked off from Palace Gate, Imphal East by Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) medical superintendent Dr Kh Lokeshwar and BABINA Diagnostics Managing Director Dr Th Dhabali. Altogether, 50 bikers took part in the rally.
