A one-day state-level workshop on Re-visualisation of NEP 2020 in Higher Education Sector was organised in the Churachandpur College on Wednesday. It was organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Churachandpur college.
The workshop was divided into two sessions; the inaugural session was graced by Md Rahejuddin Sheikh, principal of Lilong Haoreibi College as chief guest and Dr Siamkhum Guite, principal, Churachandpur college as functional president where they were facilitated by staff of the college.
The second session was a technical session that was held in the afternoon, consisting of presentations by two resource persons, namely Fr Dr Sebastian KO, principal, Don Bosco College, Maram and Bijoy Kr Basumatary, Coordinator, IQAC, Don Bosco college, Maram.
The resource persons made detailed presentations on the key points and challenges in the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP), 2020.
The presentations were followed by Question-and-Answer sessions wherein, Pauchungnung Vaiphei, Coordinator, IQAC, Churachandpur college, was the moderator. Around 80 faculty members from eight colleges within Manipur participated in the workshop.
