Assam Rifles on Saturday announced that the annual DGAR North East Seminar (Webinar) will be conducted under the theme ‘North East beyond Insurgency and Ethnic Divide-Aspirations and Opportunities with Focus on Manipur’ on May 12.
In view of the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the Annual Seminar for 2021 will be conducted as a Webinar, and it will witness the perspective of distinguished academics, military veterans, serving officers and media personalities as speakers and participants, a release stated.
To draw maximum benefit from the discussion or interaction during the Webinar, it is essential that the same is represented by all the stakeholders from the security forces, CAPF, state and district administration, state police force, media, and educational institutions and students including NCC Cadets, it stated.
The release mentioned that the Webinar will be conducted on CISCO Webex platform. The link to join the webinar will be shared through e-mail prior to the Webinar, and there are two sessions which will culminate with a question and answer (Q and A) round for the session. The questions can be typed and sent to the moderator of the session through the Webex platforms, it stated.
In view of the above mentioned details, AR requested offices and establishments to make necessary arrangements for maximum attendance from their office or establishment so that they can be represented at appropriate levels based on the theme and the speakers or panellists participating in the Webinar, the release stated.
