Life Savers Manipur (LSM) and Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Imphal West organised a voluntary blood donation camp at the blood bank of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on Monday.

The blood donation camp was organised as a part of World Blood Donor day which is observed on June 14 in many parts of the world. A release issued by Life Saver Manipur stated that chairman of IRCS Manipur State Branch Dr Y Mohen Singh, head of department Transfusion Medicine RIMS K Padmakumar, managing director LSM Dr Bankim Chandra Thokchom among others took part in the observation of World Blood Donor Day
