The National Highway-37 Commercial Transport Drivers' Welfare Association (NCTDWA) on Wednesday helped and recovered an Imphal-bound heavily laden vehicle which got overturned at Noney NH-37 under Noney Police Station.
The driver sustained no serious injuries. The vehicle bearing registration No. MN05C1386 was carrying 600+bags of urea for agricultural purposes to the state capital.
After the NCTDWA team came to the rescue of the driver, the vehicle and the goods were safely transported.
The president of the association Achun Gangmei appealed to the drivers plying along NH-37 to drive responsibly by always following the traffic rules. He further assured of providing help in any untoward incidents within the stretch of NH-37 Imphal-Jiribam road.
