The district election officer Krishna Kumar, who is also the deputy commissioner of Ukhrul, has called a press conference in connection with a special summary revision of photo electoral roll.
The press meet will be held at the conference hall of deputy commissioner Ukhrul on Wednesday at 12.30 pm.
In the meeting notice, DEO Ukhrul urged all the electoral registration officers and assistant electoral registration officers of the three assembly constituencies namely 43 - Phungyar (ST), 44-Ukhrul (ST) and 45- Chingai (ST) and political parties functioning in Ukhrul and Kamjong district to attend the press conference to be held on Wednesday in connection with special summary revision of photo electoral roll with reference to 1 January, 2023.
The press meet will be followed by meeting to discuss the following agendas namely aadhaar seeding of electors (form B); special summary revision of photo electoral roll with reference to January 1, 2023 (SSR - 2023), and systematic voters education and electoral participation (SVEEP).
The notification issued by DEO Ukhrul Krishna Kumar further requested all concerned to make it convenient to attend the meeting.
