Ukhrul: Decomposed body found near Thawai village

According to the description detailed by the Litan police station, the deceased is around 35-45 years old, about 5.5 feet tall with a beard. He wore a grey t-shirt, greyish brown jacket, cargo black pants and Relaxo chappal.

A decomposed body of an unidentified male was found late Wednesday along Thawai village road.

Inspector L Tizzi, OC of Litan police station said that the dead body of the unknown male, aged around 35-40 was found lying in the bush below the road leading to Thawai village which is about 300 metres from Gwaltabi in a highly decomposed condition at 9.30 pm on Wednesday.

The body was sent to JNIMS mortuary for prompt identification and for taking further legal proceedings, he said.
