Haokip Gas Service Moreh on Saturday distributed free gas connection to BPL women in Moreh under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0.
TA and Hill Minister Letpao Haokip distributed the free gas connection card to 19 beneficiaries who are under Below Poverty Line (BPL).
Speaking to the media at the programme, the Horticulture and Soil Conservation minister said that all the BPL women will be provided Free Gas Connection under Ujjwala Yojana 2.0.
“To avail the beneficiary, applicants must link their Aadhaar cards with registered mobile numbers and submit the photo copies of Aadhaar Card and Ration Card along with PMUY form to M/s Haokip Gas Service Moreh,” Letpao Haokip said.
Clarifying on applicants who are missed out in the beneficiary lists, minister Letpao Haokip said that Aadhaar - Mobile number linkage is necessary to get One Time Password (OTP) for verifying the applicant and the registered numbers. Those who have not linked Aadhaar and registered mobile numbers were missed out in the beneficiary lists, he added.
