Regarding the current administration of ADC Ukhrul, the caretaker chairman said it has been running its administration effectively through the unwavering support and cooperation of former ADC members, CEO and ADC staff, and exuded a more refined and robust administration in the days to come.

“Since 2019 till date, we have been facing the heat of the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic in our midst and even though many had fallen to the dreaded virus, there was not a single moment where God had abandoned us as we continue to enjoy normal life amid looming uncertainties,” UADC chief added.

Stating that Covid pandemic is a wakeup call for the people of the state, he said, “Covid has made us realise the lack of healthcare infrastructure. In addition to making us come closer to each and more united, it ignited our minds and made us see through things with clarity.  The Covid situation has made us understand the value of a good body and hygiene in one's daily life and make us strive for a cleaner environment,” he added.
