Manipur Shiv Sena unanimously resolved to terminate three members, including TT Haokip, who was a Shiv Sena candidate at the recent general election, against alleged violation of rules and regulation of the party.

State party president M Tombi told the media on Wednesday that four party members - TT Haokip, Toijam Deben, Ninghor Jajo and Kh Ranjit - met Central party leaders regarding party funds without the consent of the state president in violation of the party constitution.

Tombi further alleged that the four members also raised complaints to the central party leaders against the state party. The matter was to be discussed with the state party president before they made the complaint, he added.

In connection with the issue, the state party president also made several phone calls, urging them to come to the party office but they failed to turn up several times, said Tombi.

From among the four, Kh Ranjit contacted the state party president and confessed what they had done earlier and told him that he had joined the meeting with Central party leaders under the influence of the remaining three, he added.

The meeting conducted on July 6 resolved to terminate TT Haokip, Toijam Deven and Ninghor Jajo as disciplinary action but no action has been taken against Ranjit as he made a confession to the state president, said Tombi.

The meeting further resolved to take a decision by consulting with the central leaders whether to field a candidate for the upcoming IMC, Zilla Parishad and ADC election representing the party, said Tombi.
