Saikot AC MLA Paolienlal Haokip on Tuesday launched 'Tribal Masala' at Bethel Veng where the factory is located. Concepted by siblings, Blessing Buhril and Grace Buhril, the ingredients of the vegetable and non-vegetable masala include coriander, cumin, ginger, garlic, fenugreek, black pepper and tribal herbs and roots.

The MLA congratulated the developers saying that it’s an interesting venture as the market for spice is unlimited, stretching from the tribals to the mainland area. It's a proven concept and so under the 'Start Up' project of the government there will be a loan that can be accessed for this innovative project, the MLA said and told the developers to find out a way to get help for which he was always ready to help pursue the government.

Blessing Buhril thanked the MLA for officially launching their 'Tribal Masala’ informing that the Masala was produced and sold since February 2022 with ingredients mixed by his sister. He said the launching was made after positive response from the public with a vision to generate employment.
