A state-level training programme on ‘One Health Approach For Prevention and Control Of Zoonoses’ was organised on Tuesday at Jubilee Hall, RIMS, Imphal.

The programme was organised by the National One Health Programme for Prevention and Control of Zoonoses under the aegis of NCDC, department of Microbiology,  Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal in collaboration with Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme, Manipur, stated a release.

Additional director, Public Health Dr Kh Sasheekumar Mangang; head, department of Animal Science CAU, Imphal Dr Th Ranadhir Singh; principal chief conservation of Forests, state Forest department Dr  AK Joshi; state nodal officer, IDSP Directorate of Health Services Dr N Somorjit Singh; department of Community Medicine, RIMS, Imphal Dr Brogen Singh Akoijam, Head and consultant, NOHPPCZ Achom Reena were the resource persons, it added.
