The district veterinary office Tamenglong launched its three-day extension and training on scientific rearing under national livestock mission at Tamenglong Baptist Church complex chabagan Tamenglong Ward No VII on Thursday.
The training is being held under the banner of department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Services, Manipur. Around 96 farmers from different localities in old Tamenglong Khunjao attended the event.
In the three-day training, veterinary doctors including Dr Kakhulan Kamei, Dr Lanchalung Malingmei, Dr G Poulinliu and Dr Achun Panmei spoke as resource persons.
The resource persons spoke on how to rear scientific rearing of pigs, poultry management, etc. The department also issued certificates of participation to all participants. Similar training was also held a few days ago at Khangchiuluan village.
